Wanna guess the occasion for my returning to this dusty corner of cyberspace?
We are going to Ethiopia again! Soon. Next Saturday.
My heart does a little flip every time I think about meeting the little girl we are going to make ours. We've watched her grow up, an ocean away, for 15 months now and darn it, it is time to bring her home.
God graciously let us borrow a sweet baby girl for seven weeks in the fall, unofficial fostering, and it was such a wonderful opportunity for my heart to grow in love and expectation of having a daughter. It got me over my fear of styling curly, black hair and put so much in perspective that this jaunt to Africa for two or three weeks seems much more doable.
So, here we go again! This is an invitation for you to come with us. Please do. And please pray for us and for our two little boys staying back. I'm already missing them.
